Statement from Palestine Trauma Centre (UK) on the bombing of the Palestine Trauma Centre offices in Gaza, October 2023

In late October 2022, two clowns from PTC(UK)’s Days of Joy team – Alaa and Murad - travelled to Italy to attend a course run by international clown, Marco Rodum.

A ceasefire has been announced after 3 days of bombing on Gaza’s crowded population. According to the Palestine Ministry of Health, 44 have so far been reported killed, 15 of them children and 4 women. 360 have been injured. Some children have lost limbs. All have been re-traumatised, not yet having properly recovered from the intense bombardment of 11 days in May 2021.
